Roof Trim & Fascias
Give your home a professional finishing touch with our high quality roof trim and fascias. We offer them in a range of colours and styles so you can get the perfect finish to complement your home.
Fascias are the boards that are attached to the bottom edge of your roof at the front and back of your home. They provide support for the lower row of roof tiles, give a solid base to fix guttering onto, and stop moisture from reaching your rafters – which could lead to damp and rot.
Roof trim follows the length of your home and protects your roof from moisture as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing and stylish finish to your home.
Our roof trim and fascias are made to measure for a perfect fit, to ensure your home looks and performs its best for years to come. Choose a dark roof trim and fascias that match your house tiling, a classic white or maybe you’d prefer a bright colour to add a pop of individuality to your home.

What is a fascia?
A fascia is a board that runs along the roofline of your home. They’re often used to provide an understated and elegant finishing touch to the front of a home, but have a practical purpose as well. Fascias typically hold gutters in place and stop moisture and damp from creeping in under your roof.
Fascias, especially timber ones, can fairly easily begin to rot with age. If your fascias seem like they’ve seen better days, it’s worth making the effort to replace them — contact us today for a free, no obligation quote.
What does roof trim include?
The phrase “roof trim” covers a range of different products, including fascias, soffits, cladding, guttering and downpipes — all different types of protection for the edges of your roof. All of these components protect a roof from the elements by making sure it’s effectively water-and-damp proof, which in turn protects your property’s internal structure in the long run. If you’re unsure whether any part of your roof trim needs a revamp, you can contact us today and organise a friendly home visit. Our experts can give an honest opinion and present you with some options.
What is the difference between bargeboard, soffit and fascias?
The fascia runs horizontally along the lower edge of a roof, protecting its side and underbelly from the elements. On its inward-facing side it partly supports the bottom layer of roof tiles, and on the outward it supports the house’s guttering. The soffit is the part you can spot most clearly from the ground, joining the fascia to the wall. The barge board completes the gable end of a house, where the wall forms a pyramid shape. Done right, a barge board can look seriously stylish, especially if it matches (or sharply contrasts with!) the colour of your fascia and soffit.
How long do roof trim and fascias last?
This all depends on the material they’re made of, and their level of care! Most traditional properties have roof trim and fascias made from wood. If they aren’t properly maintained, they can collect water and rot — but then again, often their presence today is a testament to their long-term staying power.
Most roof trim nowadays is made from PVCu, which requires little in the way of specialised care and naturally lasts for a very long time. Unless you have specific aesthetic preferences (or love sanding and repainting wood perched on a tall ladder!) we’d recommend the PVCu. Once installed, you shouldn’t have to pay them much attention for many years.
